I think GLP1s did this it I can be completely candid with you. When the magic weight loss solution doesn’t work for you, (me) you become ashamed? Disheartened? Something. I never second guessed my size in the way I have recently and I have always fluctuated and loved celebrated myself regardless. But now, in the world of ozempic and mounjaro, there’s a sense of defeat I never carried before. I despise how negative this sounds but the truth is it’s a bummer but it’s also okay, the age old do it the “old fashioned way” doesn’t apply, we’ve all tried. So instead, I’ll follow more people who look like me, I’ll try to take more walks and find balance and I’ll shop shop shop and make sure I can still dress to express my inner self, and I’ll still #alwaysgetthecookie and show up in the body I am in, today, and every day. The best thing any of us can do - is show up. Wear the swimsuit, free the arms, live your life. I’m going to enjoy every day. I think I already am 💛

Can’t wait for this week with my family on island to be present and start this summer off - those people who say “you only get X summers” with your babies can f right off because I’ll be with mine forever just like my mother is with meee (gd willing, knock on wood pretty please). You know those days that fill your cup and remind you to love your people and your hometown, this did that for me! What are your happy spots and activities?

I can’t even tell you the amount of takes @chapplechandler had everyone take!!! But the beauty of being with a group of creators is everyone gets it and is a cheerleader. Iconic. Gotta giggle.
There’s a verbose emo caption deep in my heart about how I’m feeling icky because I’m bigger then my comfort right now and clothes aren’t falling the same way, but all that really matters is despite that - showing up. Not missing out on life events because of bad body image days. And this photographer was so positive and such a hype guy, and we all need that!!! Can’t wait to see his pictures. True Southern charm and hospitality. That’s all.
Having a friend who’s clothes I can steal is so rare and such a fun thrill! @gracehamlin and I have different overall aesthetics but at our core both can love the same things and let’s face it, when you’re in a bigger body sometimes the pickings are slim and you take what you can! So being able to swap is so fun (especially at 11pm).

Have been craving time with my elementary school friend @morgansmith and tonight was a dream! Twelve years ago tonight she was about to have her first child who I got to visit in the hospital - two weeks before my Coco was born and tonight that same baby boy told me all about the history of Charleston and even knew all about the local synagogue - brought me to tears. This city is magic. Excited for my time here.
Leaving the kids is always paralyzing for me, and let’s be honest also the counselor. Beau rode to the airport with us and he said “i don’t like airports but i like the pretty places once i get there”. From the mouth of babes!
